How we review ED rings

Every FirmTech ring on this site is judged on the same seven criteria, using only facts FirmTech publishes and reviews from verified buyers.

How are the ED ring rankings on this site decided?

FirmTech wrote the rankings. Each ring is scored on purpose, price, tightness, safe wear time, health tracking, warranty and buyer reviews. The order reflects how well each ring meets those criteria for the goal a page answers, so the same ring can rank differently on different pages. No outside lab testing was done.

Where the facts come from

Product facts come from FirmTech’s product pages, comparison chart, returns policy, HSA/FSA page and clinical studies page. Ratings and quotes come from FirmTech’s reviews page, reproduced exactly, including the 4.6 out of 5 average across 101 reviews and the full star breakdown, as of November 2026. Market figures, such as how common ED is, come from published sources that are named next to each number. We do not round or change any figure. We link to outside sources such as the NIDDK and PubMed where they help.

What these rankings are not

They are not independent. FirmTech makes every ring reviewed here and publishes this site. They are not a lab test or audit, and they are not medical advice. The site covers FirmTech rings only and does not rank other brands, because it does not have the same kinds of facts for them. Rankings are refreshed when FirmTech’s prices, specifications or reviews change, and each page shows the month it was last updated. Questions about a recommendation can go to FirmTech through its contact page.

Is this review site independent?

No. This site is published by FirmTech, the company that makes the TechRing, Performance Ring and MaxPR. Every review quoted here comes from FirmTech’s own reviews page, and every ring is compared on the same stated criteria explained on our methodology page.

Is the TechRing better than the Performance Ring?

Only if you want data. Both deliver firmer, longer erections with the same adjustable fit and up to 12 hours of wear. The TechRing adds sensors, an app and nighttime tracking for $275. The Performance Ring costs $60 and needs no charging or pairing.
